Exposure to Python Programming

Come Join us for our new virtual Exposure to Python Programming Workshop on Saturday, September 23rd and September 30th, 2023, for girls (ages 9-17).

Our Exposure to Python curriculum is thoroughly designed to accommodate all levels of learners, from beginners taking their first steps into the world of programming, intermediate learners looking to deepen their understanding, to advanced learners seeking to consolidate and expand their knowledge in Python programming.

Kids will be able to engage with a range of topics that include:

  • Basics of Python: Understand syntax, comments, variables, data types, numbers, casting, strings, and Booleans.
  • Advanced Data Types: Familiarize with lists, tuples, sets, and dictionaries.
  • Advanced Loops: Understand nested for loops and their practical usage.
  • File Handling: Understand creating, reading, and writing operations in Python.
  • Searching Algorithms: Learn about linear and binary search.
  • Sorting Algorithms: Learn about bubble sort, selection sort, and quick sort.
  • Object-Oriented Programming: Introduction to OOP concepts.
