ABOUT US
Why we matter
We’re creating supportive spaces where girls can build skills, grow in confidence, and connect with Black women role models in technology. This is important because Black girls are significantly underrepresented in STEM, and too often grow up without seeing themselves reflected in the tech industries. At Black Kids Code, our mission is to empower. inspire and support Black girls in their journey to becoming future leaders, innovators and change makers in the tech industry.
Confidence
We provide the space for girls to solve problems, ask questions, and explore their potential.
Future-ready skills
Girls learn coding, robotics, AI, and digital skills geared to prepare them for a future in tech.
Community
We provide a supportive and safe community where Black girls feel seen and encouraged.
